We would like to wish all our customers and staff a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We would also like to update you all with regards the Car for Logan and his family.

Fund raising via the “Just Giving” website was brilliant and we would like to thank everyone who kindly donated. £2200 was raised and we managed to find a reliable Vauxhall Zaffira with some warranty to donate to the family.

Trish went to Weston on 5 December to present the car to all the family but ,as with every best made plan, she discovered that Sarah, Logans mum was expecting their 6^th child in 2016 and as such the 7 seater zaffira was not big enough for the 8 of them.

Obviously there was no point in them taking delivery of the car and Richard, from RIW Car Sales kindly agreed to resell the car and search for an 8 seater vehicle.

This is obviously the current situation, so anyone that knows of an 8 seater for the right money please let us know.

Considerate Constructors Awards 2015

On 6 November 2015 L A Moore Ltd were awarded their third consecutive Bronze Award at the Considerate Constructors Awards 2015. The national company award ceremony was held at Plaisterers Hall in London.

Over 100 awards were presented to companies that had demonstrated exceptional levels of consideration towards the public, their workforce and the environment. Companies where monitored by the Scheme from August 2014 to July 2015.

Special guest presenters, Peter Hansford, Government Chief Construction Adviser, and Simon Carr, NFB National Chair, presented the Awards, consisting of 46 Bronze, 29 Silver, 20 Gold, 7 Most Considerate Company runners-up and 4 Most Considerate Companies.

All Companies were congratulated for their efforts in improving the image of the industry and raising the bar of considerate construction once again.

L A Moore Ltd is proud to have received this award and proud of their truly people-orientated workforce who demonstrate a strong culture of teamwork and respect. L A Moore Ltd is proof that smaller companies can be a great credit to the industry as well as large, high profile companies.

L A Moore Ltd have almost completed the final stage of demolition works at Knowle School in Plymouth. The main school buildings have been stripped and demolished and the paving and car parks dug out. The area is now being landscaped ready for the next stage in the project.
