Railway Sleepers NOW ALL SOLD
Congratulations to everyone in L A Moore Ltd, and particularly to Martin and Joe, on winning awards at the Willmott Dixon Wales and the West Supply Chain Awards last week. The awards were made as a result of nominations by Willmott Dixon personnel within the region.
The AllSafe Award was down to the very hard work of Joe Ready, with the support of everyone in the company. Joe has worked as our Health&Safety Manager for the past 20 years.
To win the Site Supervisor Award Martin Gardener impressed the judges with his work on all sites but in particular the Bridgend Police HQ project.
A huge well done to both Joe and Martin and all our employees. Once again we are only as good as the men on the ground!
“The winning partner of this award continuously exceeds our expectations in H&S. In one of the most high risk trades they demonstrate the highest of standards every moment of every day. They have had a very tough task on one recent project in particular. They have managed the project at all times in the safest of ways incorporating constant changes to scope and process but always in a safe and effective, customer focused way.”
“The winning supervisor has lead from the front with regards to his most recent project as a whole and in particular the standard of health and safety throughout being proactive in his approach. One of our H&S Managers said. “He is one of the best supervisors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He takes his duties and responsibilities seriously and always considers the health, wellbeing and safety of his work force as well as others affected by those activities he is responsible for. He’s always helpful, runs a tight ship, takes on board advice and really looks after his people.”

We are proud to announce that Joe Ready won a well deserved award at the NFDC AGM last Friday (31st March).
The NFDC considered he was worthy of the title “Demolition Industry Achievement Award”. This was the first time this was given by the NFDC and in recognition of Joe’s dedication to the industry and was long overdue!
Well Done Joe
